Distributed entanglement generation from asynchronously excited qubits
The generation of GHZ states calls for simultaneous excitation of multiple qubits. The peculiarity of such states is reflected in their nonzero distributed entanglement which is not contained in other entangled states.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Cumulant approach to weakly doped antiferromagnets
We present a new approach to static and dynamical properties of holes and spins in weakly doped antiferromagnets in two dimensions. The calculations are based on a recently introduced cumulant approach to ground--state properties of correlated electronic

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Delays alternating with nutation for tailored excitation (DANTE) is often used as the preparation sequence in black blood imaging. After applying trains of small angle DANTE excitation pulse along with a gradient, the protons in blood flow and static ...

Density and spin response function of a normal Fermi gas at unitarity
Using Landau theory of Fermi liquids we calculate the dynamic response of both a polarized and unpolarized normal Fermi gas at zero temperature in the strongly interacting regime of large scattering length. We show that at small excitation energies the {\

Alternate approaches to vibration and shock analysis using NASTRAN [PDF]
A method that derives an approximate equivalent static load to a base excitation shock analysis is described. The transient analysis in the current level of NASTRAN, level 16, does not directly provide for either input acceleration forcing functions or ...

Quantum phase transition in a two-dimensional system of dipoles
The ground-state phase diagram of a two-dimensional Bose system with dipole-dipole interactions is studied by means of quantum Monte Carlo technique. Our calculation predicts a quantum phase transition from gas to solid phase when the density increases ...

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.
