A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

We first investigate how the flatness and the symmetry of the W2-tensor impact both the base manifold and the fiber manifold of a warped product manifold.

Building machine‐readable vocabularies for materials science is slow, expert‐driven work. This study benchmarks 13 large language models on two of its first steps: finding candidate terms in engineering articles and deciding where they belong in a class hierarchy.

Reproduction of stacking fault energy calculations from literature with a semi‐automated large language model‐assisted extraction procedure: extraction of simulation protocol, atomistic structures, computational parameters, and reported results, ontology alignment, knowledge graph construction and, finally, recomputation forvalidation.

We continue studying the σ-Ricci vector field u on a Riemannian manifold (Nm,g), which is not necessarily closed. A Riemannian manifold with Ricci operator T, a Coddazi-type tensor, is called a T-manifold.

Dislocation cutting of γ′ precipitates in Ni‐based superalloys is investigated by linking atomistic simulations with discrete dislocation dynamics. The critical cutting stress is shown to be governed by the antiphase boundary energy, while line tension effects promote edge‐preferred cutting.

Coding of hypersurfaces in Euclidean spaces by a constant vector
An nn-dimensional Riemannian manifold (Nn,g)({N}^{n},g) isometrically immersed in Euclidean space Rn+1{R}^{n+1} with unit normal ζ\zeta and shape operator SS, for a fixed constant unit vector a→\overrightarrow{{\bf{a}}} in Rn+1{R}^{n+1} induces a vector

We apply a foundational machine‐learning interatomic potential based on the graph atomic cluster expansion (GRACE) to simulate the commercial Ni‐based single‐crystal superalloy CMSX‐4. Hybrid Monte‐Carlo/molecular dynamics sampling resolves short‐range order in the γ phase and L12 sublattice occupancies in the γ’ phase and connects them to stacking ...

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.
