A Coupled Harmonic Balance-Based Approach for the Non-Linear Dynamics of Spur-Gear Pairs
Noise, vibration and harshness analyses are of great interest for the latest developments of the gearboxes of electric vehicles. Gearboxes are now the main source of vibrations, since electric powertrains are much quieter than internal combustion engines.

A novel approach for the design of functional semiconductors is presented, which utilizes the excellent optoelectronic properties of layered hybrid perovskites and the possibility to introduce a molecular photoswitch as the organic spacer. This concept is successfully demonstrated on a coumarin‐based system with the possibility to change the bandgap ...

A 3D nanowire‐network SERS substrate with robust adhesion is developed, featuring pronounced z‐direction optical activity, ultralow detection limit (1.5 × 10−13 M), and excellent signal uniformity (RSD < 10%). Enabled by enhanced light scattering, increased optical density of states, and structural reinforcement, the substrate demonstrates stable, high‐

Digital Actuation Control of Soft Robotic Origami With Self‐Folding Liquid Crystal Elastomer Hinges
Self‐folding soft‐rigid hybrid robotic origami is enabled by liquid crystal elastomer actuators with embedded Joule heating and closed‐loop digital control. Digitally addressable hinges provide reversible and programmable transitions between distinct folded states while maintaining actuation performance at high cycle counts (over 1500).

Adjustment mechanism of blasting dynamic-static action in the water decoupling charge
Water decoupling charge blasting excels in rock breaking, relying on its uniform pressure transmission and low energy dissipation. The water decoupling coefficients can adjust the contributions of the stress wave and quasi-static pressure.

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...
