Research on Iterative Learning Semi-active Control for Curve Passing of High-speed Train
When the high-speed train passes the curve, its dynamics performance deteriorates. In order to improve the dynamic performance of high-speed train when passing through different curves, the influence of semi-active control with yaw damper on its dynamic ...

Are PIIGS so different? An empirical analysis of demand and supply shocks [PDF]
This paper analyses responses to supply and demand shocks in PIIGS countries. We compare the results obtained for PIIGS with those of Germany and the USA, and also with those of France, which despite its government’s efforts demonstrate ...

Testing Covariance Stationarity [PDF]
In this paper, we show that the widely used stationarity tests such as the Kwiatkowski Phillips, Schmidt, and Shin (KPSS) test have power close to size in the presence of time-varying unconditional variance. We propose a new test as a complement of the existing tests.

On the Autocorrelation and Stationarity of Multi-Scale Returns
In this article, we conduct a statistical analysis of the autocorrelation functions (ACF) of multi-scale logarithmic returns computed over maximal monotonic uninterrupted trends (runs) in financial indices’ daily data. We analyze the Dow Jones Industrial

Stationarity and Memory of ARCH Models [PDF]
Sufficient conditions for strict stationarity of ARCH(8) are established, without imposing covariance stationarity and for any specification of the conditional second moment coefficients.

Exponential-Gaussian Distribution and Associated Time Series Models
Exponential-Gaussian distribution has already appeared in the literature and it is widely used in many fields. In this paper, we study its application in time series through a model-based approach. An autoregressive process of order one with exponential-

Nonlinearity and stationarity of inflation rates: The results in the case of the Western Balkans [PDF]
In this article, we explored the nature of the dynamics and behavior of inflation in the case of the Western Balkans. The inflation rate, according to the test results, in most of the countries can be modeled as a stationary process.
