Resolving the Structural Duality of Graphene Grain Boundaries
Cantilever ncAFM resolves the atomic structure of grain boundaries in graphene, revealing coexisting stable and metastable types. Both contain pentagon/heptagon defects, but metastable GBs show irregular geometries. Modeling shows metastable GBs form under compression, exhibiting vertical corrugation, while stable GBs are flat.

Dynamical Behaviors of Stochastic SIS Epidemic Model with Ornstein–Uhlenbeck Process
Controlling infectious diseases has become an increasingly complex issue, and vaccination has become a common preventive measure to reduce infection rates. It has been thought that vaccination protects the population. However, there is no fully effective

Crystal Growth Engineering for Dendrite‐Free Zinc Metal Plating
This research employed the rare‐earth ion dysprosium (Dy) to modulate aqueous zinc (Zn) metal plating. Integrated multiscale experiments and computational modeling unveiled the preferential adsorption of Dy on specific crystal facets, which activated screw dislocation‐driven Zn growth.

Dynamics of a Stochastic SEIR Epidemic Model with Vertical Transmission and Standard Incidence
A stochastic SEIR epidemic model with standard incidence and vertical transmission was developed in this work. The primary goal of this study was to determine whether stochastic environmental disturbances affect dynamic features of the epidemic model ...

Models of Growth and Firm Heterogeneity [PDF]
Although employment at individual firms tends to be highly non-stationary, the employment size distribution of all firms in the United States appears to be stationary. It closely resembles a Pareto distribution.

This review systematically summarizes recent advances in porosity engineering of MXenes, with a focused discussion on their structure‐governed energy storage properties. A critical analysis of structure–property relationships is presented across alkali‐ion batteries, multivalent‐ion batteries, and supercapacitors.
