Mathematical models of stationary chemical-technological processes with random time of process
In the article a number of chemical and physical processes with random stay time of of particles in the device are considered. On the basis of initial density of distribution of the value of the defining parameter in the particles entering in the device ...

From Lab to Landscape: Environmental Biohybrid Robotics for Ecological Futures
This Perspective explores environmental biohybrid robotics, integrating living tissues, microorganisms, and insects for operation in real‐world ecosystems. It traces the leap from laboratory experiments to forests, wetlands, and urban environments and discusses key challenges, development pathways, and opportunities for ecological monitoring and ...

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

Estimating population means in covariance stationary process
In simple random sampling, the basic assumption at the stage of estimating the standard error of the sample mean and constructing the corresponding confidence interval for the population mean is that the observations in the sample must be independent. In

HY-A-PARCH: A stationary A-PARCH model with long memory [PDF]
The FI-A-PARCH process has been developed by Tse (1998) to model essential characteristics of financial market returns. However, due to the nonstationarity described by Níguez (2002) the process exhibits infinite conditional second moments and no ...

The variance of a poisson process of domains [PDF]
A familiar relation links the densities that result for the intersection of a convex body and straight lines under uniform isotropic randomness with those that result under weighted randomness.

Optimization of Magnetic Milli‐Spinner for Robotic Endovascular Intervention
This work presents the design optimization of a multifunctional magnetic milli‐spinner for high‐speed propulsion and efficient clot debulking. The optimized design achieves an ultrafast swimming velocity of 55 cm/s (≈175 body lengths/s) in saline water, enabling stable upstream swimming against strong physiological flows and establishing magnetic milli‐

A Low‐Cost, Handheld Optical Stiffness Sensor for Minimally Invasive Surgery
A novel handheld stiffness sensor is presented for real‐time tissue stiffness characterization. By simultaneously sensing contact force and tissue deformation, the device enables accurate stiffness quantification without requiring precise manual control. This approach offers a promising solution for intraoperative tumor detection and minimally invasive

Stability conditions for a Piecewise Deterministic Markov Process [PDF]
In the present paper we study the stability of a threshold continuos-time model that belongs to the class of Piecewise Deterministic Markov Processes. We derive a sufficient condition on the coefficients of the model to ensure the exponential ergodicity ...

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.
