Statistical analysis of galaxy surveys - I. Robust error estimation for two-point clustering statistics [PDF]
We present a test of different error estimators for two-point clustering statistics, appropriate for present and future large galaxy redshift surveys. Using an ensemble of very large dark matter ΛCDM N-body simulations, we compare internal error estimators (jackknife and bootstrap) to external ones (Monte Carlo realizations).

A New Test of the Statistical Nature of the Brightest Cluster Galaxies
A novel statistic is proposed to examine the hypothesis that all cluster galaxies are drawn from the same luminosity distribution (LD). In such a "statistical model" of galaxy LD, the brightest cluster galaxies (BCGs) are simply the statistical extreme ...

Deferred statistical cluster points of double sequences
In this paper, deferred statistical cluster points for double sequences are dened and studied by using deferred double natural density of the subset of natural numbers. Forfp(n)g,fq(n)g,fr(m)g andft(m)g satisfying certain conditions, we obtain some results for the set of deferred statistical cluster points (2); (x) in the case of (n) = q(n) p(n), (m) =

Probing clustering features around Cl 0024+17
I present a spatial analysis of the galaxy distribution around the cluster Cl 0024+17. The basic aim is to find the scales where galaxies present a significant deviation from an inhomogeneous Poisson statistical process.

ABSTRACT Introduction We developed MedSupport, a multilevel medication adherence intervention designed to address root barriers to medication adherence. This study sought to explore the feasibility and acceptability of the MedSupport intervention strategies to support a future full‐scale randomized controlled trial.

Studies in the statistical and thermal properties of hadronic matter under some extreme conditions [PDF]
The thermal and statistical properties of hadronic matter under some extreme conditions are investigated using an exactly solvable canonical ensemble model.

Some statistical cluster point theorems
In this paper, we present results related to sets of statistical limit points and cluster points of sequences and their matrix transformations, single and double sequences and stretchings of sequences.

Lifestyle Behaviors and Cardiotoxic Treatment Risks in Adult Childhood Cancer Survivors
ABSTRACT Background Higher doses of anthracyclines and heart‐relevant radiotherapy increase cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. This study assessed CVD and CVD risk factors among adult childhood cancer survivors (CCSs) across cardiotoxic treatment risk groups and examined associations between lifestyle behaviors and treatment risks.
