General Distribution Theory of the Concomitants of Order Statistics
Let $(X_i, Y_i) (i = 1, 2, \cdots, n)$ be $n$ independent $\mathrm{rv}$'s from some bivariate distribution. If $X_{r:n}$ denotes the $r$th ordered $X$-variate, then the $Y$-variate $Y_{\lbrack r:n\rbrack}$ paired with $X_{r:n}$ is termed the concomitant of the $r$th order statistics.

EPR Paradox,Locality and Completeness of Quantum Theory
The quantum theory (QT) and new stochastic approaches have no deterministic prediction for a single measurement or for a single time -series of events observed for a trapped ion, electron or any other individual physical system.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

In this study, the nonlinear analysis of the sunspot index is embedded in the non-extensive statistical theory of Tsallis. The triplet of Tsallis, as well as the correlation dimension and the Lyapunov exponent spectrum were estimated for the SVD ...

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

New Advances in Distribution Theory and Its Applications
In recent years, the prolific development of new statistical distributions via various techniques has often led to increased complexity without necessarily enhancing model flexibility or parameter interpretability, a trend that has sometimes diminished ...

Recent Developments in Network Analysis and their Applications (Invited Paper) [PDF]
In this paper we performed a brief survey of the recent literature on statistical analysis of networks. For instance, we reviewed contributions dealing with statistical properties of complex networks like the degree distribution, the clustering ...
