Feasibility of a ctDNA multigenic panel for non‐small‐cell lung cancer early detection and disease surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Measurement of Delta G/G from high transverse momentum hadron pairs in COMPASS

open access: yes, 2008
The new COMPASS Delta G/G result obtained from high transverse momentum hadron pairs in the Q^2>1 GeV^2 region is presented. Comparing to the previous analysis in this region the statistical error of Delta G/G is reduced by a factor 3 to 0.10. A weighted

Validity Evidence of the Ethical Leadership Behavior Scale (ELBS)

open access: yesPsico-USF, 2019
The study gathered evidence of validity based on the internal structure and relations with external variables of the Ethical Leadership Behavior Scale. The study participants were 405 workers of both sexes (64.7% female), aged 19-69 years (M = 35.7; SD =

The neural crest‐associated gene ERRFI1 is involved in melanoma progression and resistance toward targeted therapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

DAMPE squib? Significance of the 1.4 TeV DAMPE excess

open access: yes, 2017
We present a Bayesian and frequentist analysis of the DAMPE charged cosmic ray spectrum. The spectrum, by eye, contained a spectral break at about 1 TeV and a monochromatic excess at about 1.4 TeV.

Statistical Analysis Through Factors Path Method [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of Dunarea de Jos University. Fascicle I : Economics and Applied Informatics, 2010
The present research reflects the importance in statistics of the „Factors Path Method” (FPM), which provides modern techniques for the reflection of the factorial influences over of the variation in time or space presented by the phenomenons from economy. The purpose of this paper is the research of the shape concerning the model described through the
