Determining the endurance limit of AISI 4340 steels in terms of different statistical approaches
In engineering applications, fatigue phenomenon is a key issue and needs to be analyzed in the beginning of design phase in case of any component exposed to alternating loading on operation otherwise catastrophic fatigue failure may cause.

Statistical cluster point and statistical limit point sets of subsequences of a given sequence
J.A. Fridy [Statistical limit points, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., 1993] considered statistical cluster points and statistical limit points of a given sequence x. Here we show that almost all subsequences of x have the same statistical cluster point set as x. Also, we show an analogous result for the statistical limit points of x.

Duplex S-N fatigue curves: statistical distribution of the transition fatigue life [PDF]
In recent years, very-high-cycle fatigue (VHCF) behavior of metallic materials has become a major point of interest for researchers and industries.

Time as a statistical variable and intrinsic decoherence [PDF]
We propose a novel approach to intrinsic decoherence without adding new assumptions to standard quantum mechanics. We generalize the Liouville equation just by requiring the dynamical semigroup property of time evolution and dropping the unitarity ...

Colligative properties of solutions: I. Fixed concentrations [PDF]
Using the formalism of rigorous statistical mechanics, we study the phenomena of phase separation and freezing-point depression upon freezing of solutions.

We present a decomposition of two topologies which characterize the upper and lower semicontinuity of the limit function to visualize their hidden and opposite roles with respect to the upper and lower semicontinuity and consequently the continuity of ...

We complete the literature on the statistical mechanics of point vortices in two-dimensional hydrodynamics. Using a maximum entropy principle, we determine the multi-species Boltzmann-Poisson equation and establish a form of virial theorem.

STATISTICAL CONVERGENCE IN TOPOLOGICAL SPACE CONTROLLED BY MODULUS FUNCTION
The notion of \(f\)-statistical convergence in topological space, which is actually a statistical convergence's generalization under the influence of unbounded modulus function is presented and explored in this paper.
