Central limit theorems for $U$-statistics of Poisson point processes
A $U$-statistic of a Poisson point process is defined as the sum $\sum f(x_1,\ldots,x_k)$ over all (possibly infinitely many) $k$-tuples of distinct points of the point process. Using the Malliavin calculus, the Wiener-It chaos expansion of such a functional is computed and used to derive a formula for the variance.

Fundamental Limits in Cellular Networks with Point Process Partial Area Statistics [PDF]
Despite the huge number of contributions dealing with the evaluation of cellular networks performance, tackling with more and more complex systems including multi-tier networks or MIMO systems, the fundamental limits in terms of capacity in an information theory sense is not known for these networks.

Parent‐to‐Child Information Disclosure in Pediatric Oncology
ABSTRACT Background Despite professional consensus regarding the importance of open communication with pediatric cancer patients about their disease, actual practice patterns of disclosure are understudied. Extant literature suggests a significant proportion of children are not told about their diagnosis/prognosis, which is purported to negatively ...

ON STATISTICALLY CONVERGENT IN FINITE DIMENSIONAL SPACES
: In this paper, the notion of statistical convergence, which was introduced by Steinhaus (1951), was studied in Rm ; and some concepts and theorems, whose statistical correspondence for the real number sequences were given, were carried to Rm .

q-deformed fermion oscillators, zero-point energy and inclusion-exclusion principle [PDF]
The theory of Fermion oscillators has two essential ingredients: zero-point energy and Pauli exclusion principle. We devlop the theory of the statistical mechanics of generalized q-deformed Fermion oscillator algebra with inclusion principle (i.e ...

ABSTRACT Background Cyclophosphamide (CY) is associated with potentially fatal cardiotoxicity, yet no electrocardiographic indices have been established for early detection of CY‐induced cardiomyopathy. This study aimed to determine whether corrected QT interval (QTc) prolongation can predict early onset of CY‐related cardiac dysfunction in pediatric ...

Asymmetry in repeated isotropic rotations
Random operators constitute fundamental building blocks of models of complex systems yet are far from fully understood. Here, we explain an asymmetry emerging upon repeating identical isotropic (uniformly random) operations.

Lacunary Statistical Limit and Cluster Points of Generalized Difference Sequences of Fuzzy Numbers [PDF]
The aim of present work is to introduce and study lacunary statistical limit and lacunary statistical cluster points for generalized difference sequences of fuzzy numbers. Some inclusion relations among the sets of ordinary limit points, statistical limit points, statistical cluster points, lacunary statistical limit points, and lacunary statistical ...

ABSTRACT Objectives To identify predictors of chronic ITP (cITP) and to develop a model based on several machine learning (ML) methods to estimate the individual risk of chronicity at the timepoint of diagnosis. Methods We analyzed a longitudinal cohort of 944 children enrolled in the Intercontinental Cooperative immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) Study ...
