Renormalization group structure for sums of variables generated by incipiently chaotic maps [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We look at the limit distributions of sums of deterministic chaotic variables in unimodal maps and find a remarkable renormalization group (RG) structure associated to the operation of increment of summands and rescaling.

On I-statistically limit points and I-statistically cluster points of sequences of fuzzy numbers

open access: yesMATHEMATICA, 2021
The main aim of this paper is to introduce I-st limit points and I-st cluster points of a sequence of fuzzy numbers and also study some of its basic properties. Conditions for a I-st limit point of a I-st cluster point are investigated.

EUV Beam–Foil Spectra of Germanium and a Blind-Spot Problem in Spectroscopy

open access: yesAtoms, 2023
Beam–foil extreme-ultraviolet survey spectra of Ge (Z=32) are presented. The data have been garnered at the performance limit of the heavy-ion accelerator available, with a correspondingly limited statistical and calibrational reliability.

Statistical properties of intermittent maps with unbounded derivative [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
23 pages, 2 figuresInternational audienceWe study the ergodic and statistical properties of a class of maps of the circle and of the interval of Lorenz type which present indifferent fixed points and points with unbounded derivative. These maps have been

On deferred statistical convergence in fuzzy normed linear spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Fuzzy Extension and Applications
In this paper, we introduce the notions of deferred statistically convergent sequence and deferred statistically Cauchy sequence in a fuzzy normed linear space(FNS) and establish some basic facts.

On deferred I-statistical rough convergence of difference sequences in neutrosophic normed spaces [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
In this study, using the concepts of deferred density and the notion of the ideal I, we extend the idea of rough convergence by introducing the notion of deferred I–statistical rough convergence via difference operators in the framework of neutrosophic ...

Physical measures for infinite-modal maps [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We analyze certain parametrized families of one-dimensional maps with infinitely many critical points from the measure-theoretical point of view. We prove that such families have absolutely continuous invariant probability measures for a positive ...

Renormalization group approach to spontaneous stochasticity

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
We develop a theoretical approach to “spontaneous stochasticity” in classical dynamical systems that are nearly singular and weakly perturbed by noise. This phenomenon is associated with a breakdown in the uniqueness of solutions for fixed initial data ...

On Rough Statistical Convergence in Neutrosophic Normed Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
In this paper, we have presented rough statistical convergence of sequence on neutrosophic normed spaces as an important convergence criterion. As neutrosophication can handle partially dependent components, partially independent components and even ...

Modeling Particle Size Distribution in Lunar Regolith via a Central Limit Theorem for Random Sums

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
A version of the central limit theorem is proved for sums with a random number of independent and not necessarily identically distributed random variables in the double array limit scheme.
