Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Quality control of manufactured surfaces

open access: yes, 2010
Recent literature on statistical process monitoring pointed out that the quality of products and processes can be often related to profiles, where the function relating a response to one or more location variables (in time or space) is the quality ...

Application of statistical methods in the control of technological beer production

open access: yesНовые технологии, 2019
The article analyzes the factors forming the quality of beer, which is produced at one of the enterprises in the Omsk region. Their influence on the main characteristics of the manufactured product is also determined. It has been found that raw materials

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Prerequisites for Statistical Analyses of the Quality of Instrument Flight Procedures

open access: yesPromet (Zagreb)
Instrument flight procedures are essential and critical components of the global aviation system. They are designed for all phases of flight, i.e.  the standard instrument departures, standard instrument arrivals, instrument approaches and the en-route ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Continuous Quality Improvement by Statistical Process Control

open access: yes, 2015
Article deals with the application of selected tools of statistical process control, through which we can achieve continuous quality improvement. The advantage of these tools is that they can identify the effects of the processes that cause unnatural ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
