Let R=(R1,R2,...,Rm) be a random vector as described in the introduction, associated with the random vector (X1,X2,...,Xm). The general linear rank-order-statistic based on R is defined by $$S:=\sum\limits_{i=1}^{m}{{{c}_{i}}a\left( {{R}_{i}} \right)},$$ (1.1) where the constants ci, ie{1,...,m}, are called regression constants.
