Vector fields near a generic submanifold [PDF]
It is given a classification of generic vector fields near a generic submanifold. The normal forms are linear vector fields near the local model of the submanifold. Similar results are obtained for vector fields near a hypersurface with boundary and near

. Given a Lie group acting on a manifold, our aim is to analyze the evolution of differential invariants under invariant submanifold flows. The constructions are based on the equivariant method of moving frames and the induced invariant variational ...

Ewald's Conjecture and integer points in algebraic and symplectic toric geometry
Abstract We solve several open problems concerning integer points of reflexive smooth polytopes, also known as monotone polytopes. While the paper belongs to the realm of discrete geometry, the connection with symplectic and algebraic geometry appears naturally since these polytopes have an important role in both areas.

Reverse isoperimetric inequalities for Lagrangian intersection Floer theory
Abstract We extend Groman and Solomon's reverse isoperimetric inequality to pseudoholomorphic curves with punctures at the boundary and whose boundary components lie in a collection of Lagrangian submanifolds with intersections locally modelled on Rn∩(Rk×−1Rn−k)$\mathbb {R}^n\cap (\mathbb {R}^{k}\times \sqrt {-1}\mathbb {R}^{n-k})$ inside Cn$\mathbb {C}

Abstract This paper investigates boundary‐layer solutions of the singular Keller–Segel system (proposed in Keller and Segel [J. Theor. Biol. 30 (1971), 377–380]) in multi‐dimensional domains, which describes cells' chemotactic movement toward the concentration gradient of the nutrient they consume, subject to a zero‐flux boundary condition for the cell

Ensemble Kalman filter in latent space using a variational autoencoder pair
The use of the ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF) in strongly nonlinear or constrained atmospheric, oceanographic, or sea‐ice models can be challenging. Applying the EnKF in the latent space of a variational autoencoder (VAE) ensures that the ensemble members satisfy the balances and constraints present in the model.

Statistical Solitonic Impact on Submanifolds of Kenmotsu Statistical Manifolds
In this article, we delve into the study of statistical solitons on submanifolds of Kenmotsu statistical manifolds, introducing the presence of concircular vector fields. This investigation is further extended to study the behavior of almost quasi-Yamabe solitons on submanifolds with both concircular and concurrent vector fields.
