Precoding of Correlated Symbols for STBC Systems Design [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A problem with transmitting correlated symbols over multiple transmit channel paths is that there is no diversity gain achieved at the receiver. Precoding technique provides a smart approach to achieving diversity gains at the receiver even when correlated symbols are transmitted; by phase variation, amplitude variation or both provided by the precoder.

KOMBINASI ORTHOGONAL SPACE TIME BLOCK CODING DAN BLOCK CHANNEL CODING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KINERJA SISTEM ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING

open access: yesTeknologi dan Kejuruan, 2012
It is well known that space-time diversity using space-time coding (STC) is an effective technique to improve wireless communication performance. STC was designed for flat fading channel and consist of space-time trellis code (STTC) and space-time block ...

Successive Interference Cancellation for DS-CDMA Systems with Transmit Diversity

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2004
We introduce a new successive interference cancellation (SIC) technique for direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) systems with transmit diversity. The transmit diversity is achieved with a space-time block code (STBC).

Optimal pilot pattern for data‐aided channel estimation for MIMO‐OFDM wireless systems

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 18, Issue 19, Page 1474-1484, December 2024.
This article presents an optimal comb‐type pilot pattern for the data‐aided channel estimation (DACE) scheme for both single‐input single‐output (SISO) and multiple‐input multiple‐output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO‐OFDM) wireless systems.

Performance of STBC Cooperative NOMA with Imperfect Successive Interference Cancellation

open access: yes, 2021
This paper explores the performance gains achieved by space time block coding (STBC)-based non orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme versus regular cooperative NOMA under the influence of imperfect successive interference cancellation (SIC ...
