Real-Time Implementation and Experimental Validation of a Novel Vector Control Strategy for a PV-Fed Reduced-Structure Inverter–Driven Induction Motor Using dSPACE 1104

open access: yesIEEE Access
Photovoltaic (PV)-fed induction motor drives are increasingly used in low-power applications, yet conventional three-phase inverters often impose high hardware complexity and cost. This paper presents a novel vector control strategy specifically tailored

Replacement strategies in steady state genetic algorithms: Dynamic environments [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Recent years have seen increasing numbers of applications of Evolutionary Algorithms to non-stationary environments such as on-line process control. Studies have indicated that Genetic Algorithms using "Steady State" models demonstrate a greater ability ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Steady-State Electrochemiluminescence at Single Semiconductive Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles for Local Sensing of Single Cells

open access: yes, 2018
Obtaining steady-state bright electrochemiluminescence (ECL) at single nanoparticles is crucial but challenging for the realization of the single-nanoparticle electrochemical sensing of single cells.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
