STEADY-STATE ANALYSIS OF THE RISING SOLAR POND

Solar Energy, 1988
Abstract The rising solar pond is a configuration in which brine is injected into the pond so as to give all or part of the gradient an upward velocity. This injection alters the salinity profile, steepening it adjacent to the gradient zone upper boundary and thus helping to minimize gradient erosion there.

Steady-State Analysis of Electronic Electrostatic Generators

2018 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2018
This paper presents a systematic procedure for the formulation of the equations required for the analysis of electrostatic generators used for energy harvesting, considering specially the behavior when operating at steady state connected to a DC/DC converter.

Fluidized‐bed fermenters: A steady‐state analysis

Biotechnology and Bioengineering, 1982
AbstractA new mathematical model is presented model is presented for use in the design and optimization of fluidized‐bed fermenters. Unlike previous models, the biomass particle size is not a required input parameter, but is predicted as a consequence of the process by which the fermenter reaches a steady state. Both tower fermenters and supported‐film

Stability Analysis: Steady States

2018
Previously, we have described basic bio-devices (transcription units) where a promoter, under the action of RNA polymerases, transcription factors, and chemicals led the expression of a reporter protein. For each circuit, we drew, first, a graphical representation. We listed, then, the species and the reactions to be considered in a model.

Sinusoidal Steady-state Analysis

1998
In electrical engineering, sinusoidal forcing functions are particularly important. The alternating sinusoidal current of power frequencies (50 Hz, 60 Hz) is extensively used for producing, transmitting and utilizing electric energy in industry and in the home. High-frequency sinusoids (of kilohertz, megahertz and gigahertz) are used as carrier signals

Steady-State System Analysis

1991
A block diagram of a typical position control system is given in Fig. 27.1, and an equivalent normalized system block diagram in Fig. 27.2. The free integrator inside the loop eliminates any residual positional error, which leaves three causes giving rise to steady-state errors, i.e. actuator velocity, actuator loading and valve hysteresis.

Bridging steady states with renormalization group analysis

Physical Review E, 2013
Transitions between different condensed phases, molecular conformations, chemical compositions, or spatiotemporal patterns play important roles in many branches of natural science and at the same time incur serious challenges in their precise characterization.

Constant Steady-State Analysis

2015
The concept of the steady state of a dynamical system is essential in many areas, such as thermodynamics, chemistry, economics, electrical and mechanical engineering. The steady-state responses can be understood here as the input–output relationships of the system after its transient responses are terminated.

Sinusoidal Steady-State Analysis

2017
Show that rms value of the sinusoidal voltage, v(t) = V p. sin(2πft) is \( V_{\text{p}} /\sqrt 2 \) volts.

Sinusoidal Steady-state Analysis

1993
This chapter not only deals with a.c. applications of techniques dealt with in the work on d.c. circuits, but deals with other circuit theorems particularly appropriate to a.c. circuit analysis. In particular, the application of complex numbers to electric circuits; the theory of complex numbers is covered in chapter 15, where the reader can study this
