Infrared stealth metamaterials
The basic principles and methods of infrared radiation and infrared stealth technology were discussed in this paper. It was found that flexible regulation of multi-band spectrum was the key to realize infrared stealth compatible with radar stealth, laser

Rozanov causality limit—a compulsive proportional thickness‐wavelength relationship (nd ∝ λ)—makes it challenging to develop perfect absorption with both thin thickness and low frequency. Herein, a cocktail effect in high‐entropy alloys (HEA) is crucially utilized for lowering plasma frequency to achieve epsilon‐near‐zero states, which finally enables ...

Terahertz Volume Plasmon‐Polariton Modulation in All‐Dielectric Hyperbolic Metamaterials
THz volume plasmon‐polariton (VPP) propagation through plasmon‐based hyperbolic metamaterials, made of alternating layers of doped and undoped III‐V semiconductors. Abstract The development of plasmonics and related applications in the terahertz range faces limitations due to the intrinsic high electron density of the standard metals.

Tunable Multifunctional Terahertz Coding Metasurface for Polarization Manipulation
Coding metasurfaces (CMs) offer versatile control over electromagnetic waves. Herein, a tunable multifunctional terahertz (THz) metasurface integrated with vanadium dioxide (VO2) is presented, enabling propagation‐phase manipulation of linearly polarized waves and hybrid‐phase control of circularly polarized waves.

Buried beneath the conversation or, if preferred, the simmering debate about if and how we should be teaching English - in some form, to some end – around the world, is the fact that many of our students are not the least bit interested in what we have to teach them. Should we care?At the heart of the problem, and of this paper, is motivation.
