The two catalytic subunits of typhoid toxin dissociate from the holotoxin in the ER of an intoxicated cell, but only CdtB exits the ER to generate immunosuppressive effects. PltA is retained in the ER and sequestered from its cytosolic target, thus allowing the anti‐inflammatory effects of CdtB to promote intestinal colonization.

Additive Manufacture of Metamaterials: a Review
As a novel structural material proposed by topology optimization, metamaterials present unusual properties, such as negative Poisson’s ratio, negative indexofrefraction and so on. Metamaterials have potential application in the aspect of wave controlling

Stealth technology for wind turbines
Currently, a large proportion of proposed UK wind farms have either concerns raised at the pre-planning stage or formal objections made by radar operators on the basis of the potential for wind turbines to cause interference to radar systems. The current generation of on and off-shore three-bladed horizontal axis wind turbines have radar signatures ...

Wideband RCS Reduction Based on Hybrid Checkerboard Metasurface
Traditional stealth technologies all have their problems such as high cost and large thickness. To solve the problems, we used novelty checkerboard metasurface in stealth technology. Checkerboard metasurface does not have as high conversion efficiency as

Schematic illustration of the proposed mechanism: PEG/RGD‐PSLs mimic apoptotic cells to engage PS receptors (notably CD300a), transducing an inhibitory signal that suppresses the MyD88/NF‐κB pathway, leading to global anti‐inflammatory and pro‐reparative effects.
