Fretting wear damage mechanism of Inconel 690 alloy tube in nuclear power plant
The steam generator is subjected to the action of high temperature and high-pressure steam, and the flow induced vibration phenomenon of its heat transfer tube is caused by the secondary lateral flow.

PWR steamline break analysis assuming concurrent steam generator tube rupture [PDF]
Results are presented for a steamline break analysis for a typical, two-loop, 2560 MW(t) pressurized water reactor. The calculations were performed using the IRT reactor system transient analysis code.

A sustainable alternative to steam cracking, the molten‐salt‐mediated oxidative dehydrogenation (MM‐ODH) of ethane (C2H6) in Li2CO3‐Na2CO3‐K2CO3 (LNK) couples thermal cracking with melt‐mediated CO2 capture to realize commercially competitive C2H4 and CO yields. LNK composition strongly influences MM‐ODH process outcomes.

The transformation of CO2 into chemical building blocks is essential for a net‐zero energy future. Plasma‐chemical processing offers promising potential to achieve this. Here, we explore a temperature‐dependent plasma‐chemical reaction mechanism, revealing a shift from electron‐driven to thermal‐driven CO2 conversion regimes.
