Economic efficiency of a gas-turbine topping for steam reheating at heating turbo-installations [PDF]
The article considers the ways to improve the operating efficiency of conventional combined heat power plants using gas-turbine topping scheme allowing heat utilization of flue gases for steam reheating in the waste-heat steam boiler. The calculating analysis was performed for a steam-turbine power generating unit with a turbine of the Т-110/120-130 ...

This paper considers the possibility of using liquid-vapor ejectors in condensing units of steam turbines. This unit is designed for pumping out a steam-air mixture from a steam turbine condenser, in which the process occurs at a pressure lower than atmospheric. In the traditional scheme, this is provided by a two-stage steam-jet ejector unit.

MODELING OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF CHP STEAM TURBINE INSTALLATIONS
District heat supply systems satisfy the heat needs of a wide range of consumers. The combined heat and power (CHP) installations are based mainly on steam turbine installations. The energy efficiency of steam turbine installations is influenced by the heat released into the system, the temperature of the district water at the outlet of the district ...

A method for improving the thermal schemes of steam turbine installations of thermal power plants with the replacement of one low-pressure surface-type heater with a mixing-type low-pressure heater is considered. The advantages and disadvantages of low-pressure surface and mixing type heaters are presented. A scheme for including a low-pressure mixing
