An Integrated Technology for Saline Soil Reclamation and Vegetation Establishment on Heavily Saline Muddy Coastal Land

open access: yesApplied and Environmental Soil Science, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The reclamation of heavy saline soil and the improvement of ecological landscapes have become major technical problems on heavily saline muddy coastal land. Thus, the objective of this study is to introduce an effective technical mode for reclaiming heavily saline coastal soils and establishing vegetation in coastal regions.

Effects of Subsurface Water Infiltration Systems on Groundwater Table Dynamics in Drained Peat Soils

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 39, Issue 12, December 2025.
The effects of subsurface water infiltration systems on groundwater table dynamics are captured in six hydrologically relevant parameters for five sites. Water infiltration systems, if applied correctly, reduce the amplitude in groundwater table fluctuations, most notably by raising water tables during dry periods.
