Performance of bolted steel-beam to CFST-column joints using stiffened angles in column-removal scenario [PDF]
This paper presents three experimental investigations on the performance of steel-beam to CFST-column joints using stiffened angle, long bolts and fin plate under a middle column removal scenario. Three specimens were designed and tested.

Ultrasoft Iontronics: Stretchable Diodes Enabled by Ionically Conductive Bottlebrush Elastomers
This work introduces a solvent‐free, ultrasoft, and stretchable ionic diode based on oppositely charged bottlebrush elastomers (BBEs). The BBE diode exhibits an ultralow Young's modulus (<23 kPa), a high rectification ratio of 46, and stretchability over 400%.

Parametric Study of Steel Frame Building with and without Steel Plate Shear Wall [PDF]
The present paper describes the analysis of high-rise steel buildings frames with and without Steel plate shear walls (SPSWs) by using STAAD PRO V8i FEA programme. The primary variable in the analysis were presence of steel plate shear walls thickness of

In this article, Hojin Kim, Sayan Deb Dutta, and co‐workers report a shape‐reconfigurable, 3D printable, and highly adhesive slime‐like ‘electronic skin’ or ‘E‐skin’ patch for human health sensing and tissue engineering applications. The dual reinforcement of hydrogel patch with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) improve the ...

Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials with Tunable Thermomechanical and Acoustic Properties
This study introduces Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials (CPSMs), which overcome TPMS design limitations by mapping 2D cellular layouts onto 3D surfaces. CPSMs exhibit enhanced elastic stiffness, thermal conductivity, and acoustic performance compared to intact P‐type shellulars, demonstrating their potential as multifunctional ...

3D Concrete Printing of Triply Periodic Minimum Surfaces for Enhanced Carbon Capture and Storage
A 3D‐printable and carbon‐capturing concrete is developed by replacing cement with diatomaceous earth (DE), which enhances rheology, provides hierarchical porosity, and serves as a nucleation site for carbonation. Maximum absorption of 488.7 gCO2 kgcement−1 is achieved in 7 days, a 142% increase over conventional concrete, and the triply periodic ...

Seismic performance between unrepaired and repaired of tunnel form building under lateral cyclic loading / Shamilah Anudai@Anuar [PDF]
A total numbers three units of one-third scale 3-storey tunnel form building (TFB) were designed using BS8110, constructed, tested under in-plane and out-of-plane lateral cyclic loading in the heavy structural laboratory.
