A LSB steganography detection algorithm

14th IEEE Proceedings on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2003. PIMRC 2003., 2004
The spatial LSB steganography results in the alteration of the smooth characteristics between adjoining pixels of the raw image. The relation between the length of embedded message and the gradient energy is theoretically analyzed, and then a steganalysis and detection method, named gradient energy-flipping rate detection (GEFR) is proposed.

A satellite communication zero steganography algorithm

Multimedia Tools and Applications, 2016
In order to solve the problem of the secret transmission of important or low speed data on the satellite, the SCZS (satellite communication zero steganography) algorithm for covert communication is proposed with the satellite communication characters of mass data and high security. Firstly, the payload data was encrypted by the AES algorithm. Secondly,

Chaos based Zero-steganography algorithm

Multimedia Tools and Applications, 2013
Conventional steganography focuses on invisibility and undetectability, as the main concern is to make the algorithms immune to steganalysis. Zero-steg-anography is an imperceptible and undetectable data hiding technique as no change is made to the cover, hence not requiring any steganalysis.

A Survey of Video Steganography Algorithms

Advances in Multidisciplinary and scientific Research Journal Publication, 2022
The need for data encryption has become more important than ever since the appearance of the covid-19 virus which has led to the rate at which cybercrimes are committed to triple. Data is generally in the form of text, audio, video, and image. Over the years researchers have found a way to hide specific information to intended destinations in these ...

A Proposed Novel Architecture for Information Hiding in Image Steganography by Using Genetic Algorithm and Cryptography [PDF]

open access: yesProcedia Computer Science, 2016
There is a large need of internet applications that requires data to be transmitted in a more secure way. Steganography and cryptography helps in providing data security.

A novel keyless algorithm for steganography

2012 Students Conference on Engineering and Systems, 2012
Steganography is one of the most powerful tools for information hiding. In this paper, we have modified least significant bit (LSB) substitution method for data hiding. Conventional LSB technique uses the least significant bit of consecutive pixels for embedding the message which draws suspicion to transmission of a hidden message.

Wavelet-transform steganography: algorithm and hardware implementation

International Journal of Electronic Security and Digital Forensics, 2013
Steganography is a powerful method to conceal the existence of secret data inside a cover object. The concealment steps are performed in the spatial domain and/or the transform domain such as wavelet transform. While it is harder to detect, the transform domain steganography involves complex computations.

Image Steganography Based on Edge Detection Algorithm

2018 International Conference on Electronics, Control, Optimization and Computer Science (ICECOCS), 2018
This article proposes a new steganography technique to embed secret message in grayscale images. It is an adaptive edge scheme that dissimulates the secret data in the edge pixels. The selection of the edge pixels is based on oversegmentation using Modified Simple Linear Iterative Clustering (M-SLIC).
