Coloring cubic graphs by point-intransitive Steiner triple systems
An $\cs$-colouring of a cubic graph $G$ is an edge-colouring of $G$ by points of a Steiner triple system $\cs$ such that the colours of any three edges meeting at a vertex form a block of $\cs$.

Image‐Based Spatio‐Temporal Interpolation for Split Rendering
Abstract Low‐powered devices – such as small form factor head‐mounted displays (HMDs) – struggle to deliver a smooth and high‐quality viewing experience, due to their limited power and rendering capabilities. Cloud rendering attempts to solve the quality issue, but leads to prohibitive latency and bandwidth requirements, hindering use with HMDs over ...

Embedding Partial Steiner Triple Systems with Few Triples [PDF]
It was proved in 2009 that any partial Steiner triple system of order $u$ has an embedding of order $v$ for each admissible integer $v\geq 2u+1$. This result is best-possible in the sense that, for each $u\geq 9$, there exists a partial Steiner triple system of order $u$ that does not have an embedding of order $v$ for any $v<2u+1$.

The economic effect of discrimination: Evidence from the restaurant sector
Abstract Discrimination often leads to economic consequences for affected groups. This study examines the economic impact of consumer discrimination on Chinese restaurants in the U.S. during the COVID‐19 pandemic's onset. Using cell phone data and revenue records, it identifies a significant −10% relative decline in visits to Chinese restaurants by ...

Partitioning Steiner triple systems into complete arcs
For a Steiner triple system of order v to have a complete s-arc one must have s(s + 1)/2⩾v with equality only if s = 1 or 2 mod 4. To partition a Steiner triplesystem of order s(s + 1)2 into complete s-arcs, one must have s = 1 mod 4.

Orius laevigatus engages in unidirectional intraguild predation on Transeius montdorensis. Despite this, both predators coexisted and suppressed the shared thrips prey. Aphids, a non‐shared prey, were effectively controlled by O. laevigatus even when its population was limited due to intraguild predation. T.

The Effect of Traffic Congestion on Labour Investment Efficiency
ABSTRACT The study examines the effects of headquarters‐city traffic congestion on labour investment efficiency. The results indicate that firms headquartered in congested cities may engage in inefficient labour investment decisions. Further analysis indicates that the inefficiency is associated with both overinvestment and underinvestment in labour ...

Fly me to the canopy: Diptera communities in oak forest crowns as bioindicators of stand decline
Diptera diversity: Oak decline increases the overall Diptera diversity, particularly in saproxylic and floricolous guilds, likely due to more open canopies and greater deadwood and floral resource availability. Family responses: Dolichopodidae, Empididae, Hybotidae and Anthomyiidae thrive in declining stands, whereas Mycetophilidae and other fungus ...

Additive Steiner triple systems [PDF]
A Steiner triple system is additive if it can be embedded in a commutative group in such a way that the sum of the three points in any given block is zero.
