Doğanhisargünümüz coğrafyasında Konya iline bağlı bir ilçedir. Sultan Dağları’nın kuzey-doğueteklerinde yer almaktadır. Konya il merkezine 122 km. uzaklıktadır. AntikDönem yollarının kavşak noktalarından dördü ilçe sınırları içerisinde, biri deilçe sınırındadır. Bilimsel açıdan yüzey araştırmaları dışında arkeolojikaraştırma yapılmamıştır.
