Application of a new evolutionary model for stellar populations to photometric maps of M32
Astrophysics and Space Science, 1989We have developed a new model of evolutionary synthesis of stellar population, from a working cyclical approximation to a general solution for the mass and time dependence of the ‘birth function’ of stars. The general solution enables us to introduce a functionG(t): the ratio of gas injected into a defined region to that which forms stars in the same ...

Evolutionary stellar models including diffusion and radiative accelerations
EAS Publications Series, 2005Atomic diffusion has been suggested to play a significant role in a large variety of CP stars to reproduce observations. In this paper I will briefly present the physics included in the self-consistent models that include atomic diffusion and radiative accelerations.

Detached Eclipsing Binaries as a Test of Stellar Evolutionary Models
2000A comparison between the observations and the predictions of standard models and overshooting models (α ov=0.2) is presented in this communication. For this purpose, we built an interpolation algorithm that uses as input data a sample of detached double-lined eclipsing binaries with accurate masses and radii.
