Acceleration of Relativistic Particles in Stellar Jets
1993A model is presented that can account for the nonthermal emission seen in some Young Stellar Objects. The relativistic electrons producing the synchrotron radiation can be accelerated at the (collisionless) bow shocks or termination shocks that are formed when jets from the central object propagate into the molecular cloud.
