Radial differential rotation leading to dipole collapse in pre-main-sequence stars
Context. Despite significant progress in the observational characterization of stellar magnetic fields, the physical processes that govern their intensity and topology, which could certainly result from their formation history, remain poorly understood ...

Weakened Magnetic Braking in the Exoplanet Host Star 51 Peg
The consistently low activity level of the old solar analog 51 Peg not only facilitated the discovery of the first hot Jupiter, but also led to the suggestion that the star could be experiencing a magnetic grand minimum.

On the Geometry of the Near-core Magnetic Field in Massive Stars
It is well-known that the cores of massive stars sustain a stellar dynamo with a complex magnetic field configuration. However, the same cannot be said for the field's strength and geometry at the convective–radiative boundary, which are crucial when ...

In this strategy, a conductive nano‐probe is employed to induce nanoscale phase transitions and map the nanoscale conductivity and trap density of GST films. By utilizing the contrasting properties of phase‐change states, nano‐resonators are fabricated that exhibit plasmonic conduction and dramatically different transport characteristics.

Similar to the solar cycle, the magnetic cycles of other solar-type stars are also variable. How the variability of the stellar cycle changes with the rotation rate or the dynamo number is valuable information for understanding the stellar dynamo process.

The Effect of Purcell Cavities on the Lifetime of Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescent Emitters
A pressing challenge to OLED displays and lighting is to balance high efficiency and long operational lifetime in the deep blue spectrum. The Purcell effect can reduce the triplet density and hence the probability for destructive energy‐driven triplet annihilation events that limit the OLED lifetime. Here we study of the Purcell effect on two different
