Asteroseismology of Metal-poor Red Giants Observed by TESS
Galactic archeology has long been limited by a lack of precise masses and ages for metal-poor stars in the Milky Way’s thick disk. However, with TESS providing a growing number of photometric observations, it is possible to calculate masses and ages for ...

Polymorph engineering in ErMnO3 enables low‐voltage, forming‐free threshold switching with tunable negative differential resistance. Conducting orthorhombic regions embedded in an insulating hexagonal matrix provide controlled Joule‐heating‐enhanced Poole–Frenkel transport. The hexagonal phase prevents excessive heating and breakdown.

The Time Evolution of Fast Flavor Crossings in Postmerger Disks around a Black Hole Remnant
We postprocess a three-dimensional, general relativistic, full transport neutrino radiation magnetohydrodynamics simulation of the black-hole-accretion disk-wind system thought to be a potential outcome of the GW170817 merger to investigate the presence ...

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

On the seismic modelling of rotating B-type pulsators in the traditional approximation [PDF]
The CoRoT and Kepler data revolutionised our view on stellar pulsation. For massive stars, the space data revealed the simultaneous presence of low-amplitude low-order modes and dominant high-order gravity modes in several B-type pulsators.

Actuating and Sensing Composites of Liquid Crystal Elastomers and Poly(ionic liquid)s
Ionic conductive, mechanically tough, flexible, and stretchable filaments of a composite material comprising a liquid crystal elastomer and a poly(ionic liquid) are produced through 3D printing, which exhibit large actuation strain under stimulation and electrical resistance variation in response to deformation or environmental condition changes. Their

NEUTRINO OSCILLATION AND STELLAR COLLAPSE
The effects of neutrino oscillations on the equation of state of supernova matter are explored with simple arguments. Its influence on the dynamics of the collapse is analyzed. We find the most dramatic results in the numerical flux of neutrinos, which appears almost proportional to the number of generations participating in the oscillation.

Bioprosthetic aortic valves have revolutionized the treatment of aortic stenosis, but their durability is limited by structural valve deterioration (SVD). This review focuses on the pericardial tissue at the heart of these valves, examining how its mechanical properties and calcification drive fatigue and failure.

Anisotropic Magnetized Asteroseismic Waves
We solve for waves in a polytropic, stratified plasma with a spatially varying background magnetic field that points along the horizontal x -direction, and with gravity that is directed along the vertical z -direction.

Color Routing and Beam Steering of Single‐Molecule Emission with a Spherical Silicon Nanoantenna
We experimentally demonstrate broadband directional emission from single molecules using a single spherical silicon nanoparticle assembled via DNA origami. By varying nanoparticle (NP) size and emitter position, we achieve unidirectional emission, beam steering, and color routing at the nanoscale, revealing modal interference as the underlying ...
