NEW WILKINSON POWER DIVIDERS BASED ON COMPACT STEPPED-IMPEDANCE TRANSMISSION LINES AND SHUNT OPEN STUBS [PDF]

open access: yesProgress In Electromagnetics Research, 2012
This study presents new Wilkinson power dividers using compact stepped-impedance structures and capacitive loads to achieve the required power splitting. This approach can produce additional transmission zeros and efiectively suppress the desired stopbands because shunt open stubs realize capacitive loads.

Reflection of an acoustic line source by an impedance surface with uniform flow

open access: yes, 2014
An exact analytic solution is derived for the 2D acoustic pressure field generated by a time-harmonic line mass source located above an impedance surface with uniform grazing flow. Closed-form asymptotic solutions in the far-field are also provided.

High impedance fault modeling and location for transmission line✰ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
A fault in a power system generates economic losses, security problems, social problems and can even take human lives. Therefore, it is necessary to have an efficient fault location strategy to reduce the exposure time and recurrence of the fault.

Interpolation-Free Hybrid Bergeron–π Line Model with Accurate Zero-Sequence Impedance

open access: yesEnergies
Fixed-step real-time electromagnetic-transient (EMT) simulation of large power networks typically relies on parallel partitioning, where transmission-line elements serve as step-synchronous decoupling boundaries between subsystems.

Design and Simulation of a Novel UWB Bandpass Filter with Sharp Roll-Off, Compact Size and Wide Upper Stopband based on a Multiple-Mode Resonator [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Procedures in Electrical Technology, 2014
In this paper, a novel microstrip-line ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) based on multiple-mode resonator (MMR) is designed, analyzed and simulated.

Reconfigurable composite right/left-handed transmission line antenna based Hilbert/Minkowski stepped impedance resonator for wireless applications

open access: yesRadioelectronic and Computer Systems, 2023
The subject matter of the article is the analysis and design of a via free metamaterial antenna based on a composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH-TL) structure. The goal is to design a high-gain antenna with dual-band resonance capable of changing its resonance frequency and gain adaptively.

A Compact Multiband BPF Using Step-impedance Resonators with Interdigital Capacitors [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering, 2016
A compact multiband band-pass filter design for applications of GSM, Wi-MAX and WLAN systems is presented. The design is based on the resonant characteristics of step-impedance and interdigital capacitor resonators with overlap cross coupling structure ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

On the design of magnetically insulated transmission lines for z-pinch loads

open access: yesMatter and Radiation at Extremes, 2019
Many papers have been published on the theory of magnetic insulation and the use of Zflow analysis of magnetically insulated transmission lines (MITLs). We describe herein a novel design process using the circuit code SCREAMER for a real-world MITL for z-
