SOI high-voltage device with step thickness sustained voltage layer

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2008
A new SOI high-voltage device with a step thickness sustained voltage layer (ST SOI) is proposed. The electric field in the drift region is modulated, and that in the buried layer is enhanced by the variable-thickness SOI layer, resulting in enhancement of breakdown voltage (BV).

CPX‐351 in High‐Risk Relapsed Pediatric Acute Leukemia: Real‐World Phase 1 Data Establishing the FDA‐Approved Dose

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.

Fractional PID Controller for Voltage-Lift Converters

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
Voltage-lift is a widely used technique in DC–DC converters to step-up output voltage levels. Several traditional and advanced control techniques applicable to power electronic converters (PEC) have been reported and utilized for voltage-lift ...

Impulse TDR and its application to measurement of antennas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The traditional stimulus signal used in a time-domain reflectometer (TDR) is a voltage step. We propose an alternative technique, whereby an impulse generator is employed in place of the step generator in a TDR.

Nonequilibrium current driven by a step voltage pulse: an exact solution

open access: yes, 2006
One of the most important problems in nanoelectronic device theory is to estimate how fast or how slow a quantum device can turn on/off a current. For an arbitrary noninteracting phase-coherent device scattering region connected to the outside world by ...

Improving the Evaluation and Management of Transfusion‐Related Iron Overload in Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults Following Cancer Treatment or Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Transfusion‐related iron overload (TRIO) is a late effect of therapy impacting survivors of childhood cancer and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) who receive frequent packed red blood cell (pRBC) transfusions. Surprisingly, there are no accepted guidelines to assist providers in identifying and treating at‐risk ...

Design of Step Voltage Regulator Based on IGBT

open access: yesEnergies
The introduction of distributed generation (DG) into distribution systems is expanding due to carbon neutral policies. DG with intermittent output characteristics brings frequent voltage variations in distribution systems.

A Fully Distributed Voltage Optimization Method for Distribution Networks Considering Integer Constraints of Step Voltage Regulators

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
With the increasing penetration of distributed photovoltaics (PVs), the operation and control of distribution networks (DNs), especially voltage control, have become more complicated.

Optimal under voltage load shedding based on stability index by using artificial neural network [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Power system is exceptionally sensitive at the generation and consumer side. Inconsistent power requirement under general power production environment may cause power system to approach breakdown or power outages.

Voltage sensing in ion channels: Mesoscale simulations of biological devices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Electrical signaling via voltage-gated ion channels depends upon the function of a voltage sensor (VS), identified with the S1-S4 domain in voltage-gated K+ channels.
