Stereomicroscope Analysis of Enamel Surface after Orthodontic Bracket Debonding [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
After orthodontic brackets debonding, the remaining resin has to be removed. The purpose of this study was to determine the most efficient method as well as to introduce a new method of composite removal.

Morphology and Surface Structure of Eggs and First Instar Larvae of Coccinella septempunctata (Linnaeus, 1758) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)

open access: yesResearch in Agricultural Sciences
The seven-spotted ladybug, Coccinella septempunctata (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) L., is a polyphagous predatory species that feeds on many species of aphids and some soft-bodied insects in both larval and adult stages. For this reason, C.

An in vitro comparision of apical leakage in immediate versus delayed post space preparation using EndoREZ and RoekoSeal root canal sealers

open access: yesJournal of International Clinical Dental Research Organization, 2015
Context: The newer resin and silicone-based sealers have a shorter setting time when compared to conventional zinc oxide-based sealers. This factor may influence the effect of the timing of post space preparation on the integrity of remaining apical root

Sequential Regulation of Neurovascular Bone Regeneration in Large Bone Defects Using Black Phosphorus‐Europium Nanosheet Integrated TPMS Biomimetic Scaffold with Photo‐Controlled Ion Release

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TPBE scaffolds, in conjunction with mild photothermal effects, effectively activate the PI3K/Akt signaling cascade, thereby promoting early neuronal differentiation and neurite growth. Short‐term (12 W) in vivo implantation studies revealed no significant pathological damage to major organs, providing preliminary evidence of the material's excellent ...

An In-Vitro Comparison of Effects of Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation with Various Concentrations of Peracetic Acid, Citric Acid, Sodium Hypochlorite, and Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid on Removal of Calcium Hydroxide from Root Canals

open access: yesJournal of Orofacial Sciences
Introduction: Bacteria play a key role in pulp and periapical disease, making their complete removal essential in endodontic treatment. Calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)₂) is commonly used as an intracanal medicament due to its antimicrobial properties, but its ...

Self‐Propelled HPB@Lip@AB Nanomotors Ameliorate Dry Eye Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A self‐propelled HPB@Lip@AB nanomotor system is developed for dry eye disease (DED) therapy, facilitating rapid penetration across ocular surface barriers while integrating hydrogen therapy with multi‐enzyme‐like antioxidant activity. The nanoplatform restores mitochondrial function, suppresses oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis, and ...

Macrophage Dab1 Links Early Hypoxia to Adaptive Angiogenesis to Drive Peripheral Nerve Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic diagram illustrating the Dab1‐linked hypoxia signaling pathway that accelerates angiogenesis and consequent nerve regeneration. Following PNI, a hypoxic microenvironment develops. Hypoxia induces macrophage Dab1 phosphorylation, resulting in NHE‐1 upregulation, HIF‐1α stabilization, and VEGF‐A expression. This cascade promotes angiogenesis in

Comparative study of the effect on apical sealability with different levels of remaining gutta-percha in teeth prepared to receive posts: An in vitro study

open access: yesContemporary Clinical Dentistry, 2018
Objective: The objective of this study is to compare the apical sealability of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) Fillapex and Endosequence BC sealer at three different lengths of remaining gutta-percha after postspace preparation. Materials and Methods: A

SAV1 in Cooperation With FKBP52 Participates in Implantation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The MST‐SAV1 complex modulates FKBP52 phosphorylation to fine‐tune PR activity, ensuring timely uterine transition to receptivity under estrogen signaling for implantation. Stromal SAV1 scaffolds MST1/2‐mediated FKBP52 phosphorylation via noncanonical Hippo to promote PR activity.

Nuclear IDH3A Drives Transcriptional Programs in Melanoma via the YBX1–JUN/FOS Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genomic amplification drives aberrant nuclear localization of IDH3A in melanoma. Independent of its canonical metabolic activity, nuclear IDH3A cooperates with YBX1 to activate the c‐JUN/c‐FOS transcriptional program, while NONO facilitates its nuclear localization.
