A Stereotaxic Technique for Preoperative Marking of Non-Palpable Breast Lesions
Acta Radiologica. Diagnosis, 1983A new method for preoperative marking has been evaluated in 56 non-palpable lesions of the breast. With the aid of a stereotaxic biopsy instrument the lesion is located and an aqueous suspension of carbon particles is injected so as to leave a distinct trail from the lesion out to the skin.

This study is meant to combine traditional aspects of tracer microinjections using bone landmarks like bregma and lambda with novel procedures in which specific parts of the brain can serve as reference points. For telencephalic and diencephalic injections, the brain surface, the interhemispheric groove and the straight sinus can be used as absolute ...

Summary The monoamine-containing fibres to the median eminence and the neurointermediate lobe have been studied by fluorescence microscopy in combination with microknife lesions. The origin and the course of the fibres were evaluated on the basis of monoamine accumulation proximal to the lesion and monoamine disappearance distal to the lesion.

A simple method for deriving stereotaxic coordinates for angular approaches to brain target sites is described. This method requires the use of a stereotaxic instrument with two micromanipulators and is based on the relative measurement of stereotaxic zero and the target site. This is achieved using a conventional (perpendicular) angle of approach with

A reliable technique for midline stereotaxic cannulation of the third ventricle in the rat.
Acta physiologica et pharmacologica Bulgarica, 1992A simple technique is described for chronic or acute cannulation of the third ventricle in the rat slightly displacing the superior sagittal sinus to allow midline implantation of a vertically oriented cannula. The results of an experiment successfully employing the technique for transplantation of embryonic hypothalamic tissue in rats are briefly ...
