Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran terkait stereotip gender yang dialami oleh akuntan wanita berdasarkan pengalaman yang telah mereka alami dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode fenomenologi Sanders (1982) dan lima orang akuntan wanita sebagai informan dengan profesi dan posisi yang berbeda.
