The Not-So-Sterile 4th Neutrino: Constraints on New Gauge Interactions from Neutrino Oscillation Experiments [PDF]
Sterile neutrino models with new gauge interactions in the sterile sector are phenomenologically interesting since they can lead to novel effects in neutrino oscillation experiments, in cosmology and in dark matter detectors, possibly even explaining ...

Hierarchically acting sterile neutrinos [PDF]
AbstractWe propose that a hierarchical spectrum of sterile neutrinos (eV, keV, 1013–15 GeV) is considered as the explanation for MiniBooNE and LSND oscillation anomalies, dark matter, and baryon asymmetry of the universe (BAU), respectively. The scenario can also realize the smallness of active neutrino masses by the seesaw mechanism.

Constraining active-sterile neutrino mixing via lepton flavor violating decays of mesons
As a hypothetic particle, a sterile neutrino can exist in types of new physics models. In this work by investigating flavor violating semileptonic and leptonic decays of K,D, and B mesons induced by the GeV scale sterile neutrino, we explore its allowed ...

Probing mass orderings in presence of a very light sterile neutrino in a liquid argon detector
Results from experiments like LSND and MiniBooNE hint towards the possible presence of an extra eV scale sterile neutrino. The addition of such a neutrino will significantly impact the standard three flavor neutrino oscillations.

Lightest sterile neutrino abundance within the nuMSM [PDF]
We determine the abundance of the lightest (dark matter) sterile neutrinos created in the Early Universe due to active-sterile neutrino transitions from the thermal plasma.

eV-Scale Sterile Neutrinos [PDF]
We address the phenomenology of light sterile neutrinos, with an emphasis on short-baseline neutrino oscillations. After reviewing the observed short-baseline neutrino oscillation anomalies, we discuss the global fit of the data and the current appearance–disappearance tension.

Sterile neutrino dark matter production
Sterile neutrinos provide active neutrinos with masses and mixing, and hence is one of the well-motivated candidate for dark matter. We discuss the sterile neutrino production mechanisms operating in the early Universe and show that additional scalar ...

Sterile neutrino searches via displaced vertices at LHCb
We explore the sensitivity of displaced vertex searches at LHCb for testing sterile neutrino extensions of the Standard Model towards explaining the observed neutrino masses.

Sterile neutrino dark matter from right-handed neutrino oscillations [PDF]
We study a scenario where sterile neutrino (either warm or cold) dark matter (DM) is produced through (nonresonant) oscillations among right-handed neutrinos (RHNs) and can constitute the whole DM in the Universe, in contrast to the conventional sterile ...
