Sterile neutrinos and future solar neutrino experiments [PDF]
It is shown that future solar neutrino experiments (SNO, Super-Kamiokande and others), in which high energy neutrinos will be detected (mostly from 8B decay), may allow to answer in a model independent way the question whether there are transitions of solar $ _e$'s into sterile states.

Sensitivity to sterile neutrino mixing using reactor antineutrinos
The reactor antineutrinos are used for the precise measurement of oscillation parameters in the 3-neutrino model, and also used to investigate active-sterile neutrino mixing sensitivity in the $$3+1$$ 3+1 neutrino framework. In the present work, we study

COSMOLOGY OF "VISIBLE" STERILE NEUTRINOS [PDF]
We point out that in scenarios with a low reheating temperature TR << 100 MeV at the end of (the last episode of) inflation or entropy production, the abundance of sterile neutrinos becomes largely independent of their coupling to active neutrinos.

A review is given of hypothetical faster‐than‐light tachyons and the development of the author’s 3 + 3 model of the neutrino mass states, which includes one tachyonic mass state doublet. Published empirical evidence for the model is summarized, including an interpretation of the mysterious Mont Blanc neutrino burst from SN 1987A as being due to ...

Hierarchically acting sterile neutrinos [PDF]
AbstractWe propose that a hierarchical spectrum of sterile neutrinos (eV, keV, 1013–15 GeV) is considered as the explanation for MiniBooNE and LSND oscillation anomalies, dark matter, and baryon asymmetry of the universe (BAU), respectively. The scenario can also realize the smallness of active neutrino masses by the seesaw mechanism.

Very recently novel implementation of type‐II seesaw mechanism for neutrino mass has been proposed in SU(5) grand unified theory with a number of desirable new physical phenomena beyond the standard model. Introducing heavy right‐handed neutrinos and extra fermion singlets, in this work we show how the type‐I seesaw cancellation mechanism works in this

Role of Sterile Neutrino Warm Dark Matter in Rhenium and Tritium Beta Decays
Sterile neutrinos with mass in the range of one to a few keV are important as extensions of the Standard Model of particle physics and are serious dark matter (DM) candidates.
