MICROSURGICAL REVERSAL OF FEMALE STERILIZATION

Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, 1988
Abstract. Between 1979 and 1985, 25 consecutive, unselected women (age 28–40 years, median 34) underwent microsurgical tubo‐tuba1 anastomosis for reversal of sterilization. The overall pregnancy rate was 44%. The incidence of pregnancy was correlated to the tubal length after reversal.

Pelviscopic Reversal of Sterilization

1992

It is widely accepted that pelviscopic surgery plays a key role in the therapy of ectopic pregnancy [1, 8, 11], of endometriosis [9], of salpingo-ovariolysis [2, 6], and of salpingostomy [5, 9].

MICROSURGICAL TUBAL ANASTOMOSIS FOR STERILIZATION REVERSAL

Medical Journal of Australia, 1977
A series of patients requesting sterilization reversal has been reviewed. Microsurgical tubal anastomosis has been successfully employed and offers improved surgical results. Minimization of the length of tube damaged at sterilization procedures is probably a major factor in determining pregnancy rates should subsequent reversal be desired.
