A Prospective Cohort study of determinats in outcome of Tubal Recanalisation

open access: yesBLDE University Journal of Health Sciences, 2020
Introduction: Tubal sterilisation is the most prevalent family planning method practised in our country. According to National Family Health Survey (NFHS 4) (2015-2016) a total of 51.8% of married women use any method of family planning, of which female ...

On T violation in non-standard neutrino oscillation scenarios [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
We discuss time reversal (T) violation in neutrino oscillations in generic new physics scenarios. A general parameterization is adopted to describe flavour evolution, which captures a wide range of new physics effects, including non-standard neutrino interactions, non-unitarity, and sterile neutrinos in a model-independent way.

Tube permeability and pregnancy after tubal ligation reversal - doi:10.5020/18061230.2006.p209

open access: yesRevista Brasileira em Promoção da Saúde, 2012
This study aimed at verifying the frequencies of tube permeability and pregnancy in women submitted to microsurgical tubal ligation reversal by laparotomy at a private Clinical Center, in São Luís, Maranhão, from August, 1999 to April, 2003.

Reversible sterilization in the female. [PDF]

open access: yesBMJ, 1971
Diathermy sterilizations may be more readily reversed if the tubal mucosa are not damaged by inflammation. Tubal ligation should be performed near the juncture of the isthmus with the ampulla and opposite an avascular window in the broad ligament. Then the tube ends are buried under separated layers of the broad ligament.

Changes in family structure and regret following tubal sterilization Mudanças na estrutura familiar e arrependimento da laqueadura tubária

open access: yesCadernos de Saúde Pública, 2005
Tubal sterilization is one of the contraceptive methods whose use has increased the most in Brazil, but a growing number of women have expressed regret after the procedure.

Directed Evolution Detects Supernumerary Centric Chromosomes Conferring Resistance to Azoles in Candida auris

open access: yesmBio, 2022
Candida auris exhibits resistance to multiple antifungal drug classes and sterilization agents, posing threats to the immunocompromised worldwide. Among the four major geographical clades, the East Asian clade 2 isolates of C.

Note on Thermalization of Non-resonantly Produced Sterile Neutrinos [PDF]

open access: yesJCAP 10 (2020) A01, 2020
Using an analytic treatment, we discuss the parameter regions of large active-sterile neutrino mixing angles where sterile neutrinos produced in non-resonant flavour oscillations can approach thermalization in several cosmologies. We show that thermalization affects only large active-sterile neutrino mixing already rejected by different limits.

Review of Recent Neutrino Physics Research [PDF]

open access: yesMod. Phys. Lett. A, Vol28, No. 29 (2013) 1330024, 2013
We review recent research in neutrino physics, including neutrino oscillations to test time reversal and CP symmetry violations, the measurement of parameters in the U matrix, sterile neutrino emission causing pulsar kicks, and neutrino energies in the neutrinosphere.

Vasectomy and vasectomy reversal: An update

open access: yesIndian Journal of Urology, 2011
Vasectomy is an elective surgical sterilization procedure for men that is intended to obstruct or remove a portion of both vas deferens, thereby preventing sperm from moving from the testes to the ejaculatory ducts.
