More Thoughts on the Worker-Student Alliance: A Response to Steve Early [PDF]
[Excerpt] My comments here reflect ten degrees of difference. While I mostly agree with him, I think Early takes a valid critique a step too far with jibes about red carpet treatment, Mormon missionaries, the best and the brightest, mobile organizers ...

ITGB1 Regulates Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Development by Modulating the Tumor Microenvironment
ABSTRACT Tumorigenesis and metastasis are frequently attributed to the intricate interplay between cancer cells and the tumor microenvironment (TME). Comprehending the mechanisms and key regulators of cancer‐immune crosstalk in the TME is imperative for developing efficacious immunotherapy.

A brief perspective of foot and ankle leadership over the decades
I remember so clearly when I first became a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society in the early 1980s. I knew everyone. It was a small organization that facilitated friendships, collegiality as well as academic and professional ...

This study demonstrates a strain‐tunable anomalous Hall response in the (110)‐oriented FeRh thin film. First‐principles calculations reveal that strain‐induced symmetry lowering redistributes Berry curvature near the Fermi level via band shifts and avoided crossings.

Knowledge Design: A Much Needed Discipline
In the age of print, the disposition and density of words on the page conveyed specific messages about how texts were supposed to be read. In the current proliferation of electronic supports, “knowledge design” is required to make sure that the process ...

Kinesin‐Induced Buckling Reveals the Limits of Microtubule Self‐Repair
This study shows that kinesin‐driven buckling induces extensive microtubule lattice damage that often exceeds intrinsic self‐repair and leads to filament failure. While curvature, motor motility, and force individually cause limited damage, their combination overwhelms repair.

Lithiation‐Driven LiCrSe2 Shell Growth on Metallic CrSe2 Core Governs the Plateau–Slope Behavior
Layered CrSe2 is investigated as a lithium‐ion battery cathode combining fast Li+ diffusion and structural reversibility. Calculations and experiments reveal a single topotactic intercalation process with a characteristic plateau–slope profile governed by lithiation‐induced conductivity changes. A core‐shell lithiation evolution underpins its high‐rate

A phosphorescent dye was designed to fit in a hand‐to‐glove fashion into the 1D‐pore channels of MIL‐68(In). We synthesized MIL‐68(In) as powder and thin films, loaded the dye into the pores with controlled packing, and found that the phosphorescence and quantum yield are enhanced.
