Predicting Operating Income via a Generalized Operating-Leverage Model
We propose a generalized, practitioner-oriented operating-leverage model for predicting operating income using net sales, cost of sales, depreciation, and SG&A.

Comparative performance of traps in catching tsetse flies (Diptera: Glossinidae) in Tanzania
This study was conducted to determine the efficiency of different tsetse traps in 28 sites across Tanzania. The traps used were biconical, H, NGU, NZI, pyramidal, S3, mobile, and sticky panels.

A fully polymeric two‐dimensional array of Dielectric Elastomers enables self‐sensing, cooperative actuation, and large‐stroke operation in a DE‐based autonomous conveyor. Based only on voltage and current measurements at actuator level, the system detects the presence of a ball and subsequently drives it toward a target position.

Investigating of Asymmetric Timelines of Earning Due to Conservatism and Cost Stickiness [PDF]
Conditional conservatism is tendency to count for high degree of verification to recognize good news as gains than bad news as losses, and is called as asymmetric timeliness of earnings. But this asymmetry can also be resulted from other phenomenon which

The Role of Cost Stickiness in Estimating Conditional Conservatism [PDF]
Empirical research documents a linear relation between earnings and stock returns, and often attributes this pattern to conditional conservatism—more timely recognition of bad news than good news.

Cost Stickiness and Anti-Cost Stickiness of Non- Manufacturing Costs in Iranian Firms
Cost stickiness denotes the asymmetric response of costs to sales increasesversus sales decreases. In this paper, we also consider the concept of costanti-stickiness. Cost anti-stickiness happens when the decrease of costs incase of a fall in sales is more than the increase of costs due to an equal rise insales.

This study presents an implantable, wireless, battery‐free oximeter that can continuously monitor physiologically consistent regional tissue oxygenation under dynamic changes of blood volume. This is achieved through multiwavelength photoplethysmography and validated both via Monte Carlo simulations and in vivo rat studies. Different stress events were
