Study On Damage Tolerance Behavior Of Integrally Stiffened Panel And Conventional Stiffened Panel
The damage tolerance behavior of integrally and conventional stiffened panel is investigated based on the fracture mechanics and finite element analysis. The load bearing capability and crack growth characteristic of both types of the stiffened panels having same configuration subjected to distributed tensile load is examined in this paper.

A Two‐Stage Characterization Pipeline and Open‐Source Framework for Reproducible Tactile Sensing
The same soft tactile sensor returns different numbers when embodied in different robots. This is an Embodiment Gap that no shared framework currently captures transparently. A two‐stage characterization pipeline, paired with a FAIR open‐source digital datasheet, decouples intrinsic sensor behavior from embodiment effects and condenses cross‐laboratory

Plastic buckling of initially imperfect stiffened cylinders in axial compression
Bibliography: leaves 117-118.Bifurcation in the plastic range of axially compressed stringer-stiffened cylinders is investigated. The shell under consideration is assumed to have an initial imperfection in the form of a sinusoidal deviation both axially ...

Abstract Background Fibrillins provide a scaffold for elastic fiber formation, which enables lung recoil and aortic compliance. Abnormal fibrillin microfibrils, as in Marfan syndrome, lead to enlarged alveoli, vascular stiffening, and aneurysms. Our earlier studies suggested that fibrillin function depends on O‐glucosylation of its epidermal growth ...

Nonlinear static and dynamic analysis of composite layered plates and shells using finite strip methods [PDF]
In this thesis, a new concept of finite strip elements is introduced. Lagrangian, Hermitian and spline-type interpolations have been used independently along the two axes of the plate mid-plane.

Compressive Tests on Long Continuous Stiffened Panels
Results of eight tests on long stiffened panels under axial compression until collapse are presented. The specimens are three-bay panels with associated plates made of very high tensile steel S690.

Topology optimization for stiffened panels, from linear buckling to postbuckling
This study introduces topology optimization for postbuckling of stiffened panels. A level-set-based topology optimization parameterization, which has been successfully applied to linear buckling optimization, is extended to postbuckling optimization of ...
