Facile and Efficient Synthesis of Dual‐Defect NiFe Layered Double Hydroxides for Enhanced Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT In electrocatalysis, traditional single‐atom catalysts (SACs) face challenges in achieving coordinated control of reaction pathways due to limitations such as single local energy levels and carrier recombination. By introducing an additional defect structure, it is possible to break the electronic structure symmetry, thereby activating SACs ...

Synergistic Effects of Microwave and Osmotic Dehydration on Food Processing: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesComprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety, Volume 25, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT The combination of osmotic dehydration (OD) and microwave radiation (MW), referred to as microwave‐assisted osmotic dehydration (MWOD), has emerged as a promising hybrid strategy for optimizing food processing by enhancing mass transfer and preserving bioactive compounds.

Numerical Investigation of Stress Intensity and Geometry Correction Factors in Welded Longitudinal Stiffener Details

open access: yesFatigue &Fracture of Engineering Materials &Structures, Volume 49, Issue 7, Page 2654-2669, July 2026.
ABSTRACT The safe operation of aging steel railway bridges requires reliable fatigue assessment of welded structural details. Welded longitudinal stiffeners, while not directly loaded, influence structural stiffness and are susceptible to fatigue cracking at weld transitions.

Free Vibration Analysis of Integrally Stiffened Plates with Plate-Strip Stiffeners

AIAA Journal, 2016
We investigated the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a freely vibrating, integrally stiffened and/or stepped plate. The stiffeners used here were plate-strip stiffeners as opposed to the normally employed rib stiffeners. Both the plate and stiffeners were analyzed using the first-order shear deformation theory.
