Design of High‐Performance MnCo1.5Cu0.5O4 Spinel Contact Material with Optimized Electrical Conductivity and Thermal Stability for Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells by Cu Doping

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Cu‐doped spinel MnCo1.5Cu0.5O4 exhibits excellent conductivity and stability as SOC contact material. After 1000‐h aging at 850 °C, the contact layer maintains a 10 mΩ cm2 ASR value, and a single‐cell stack achieves a H2O/CO2 co‐electrolysis power density of 0.52 W cm−2.

Experimental Research of Concrete-filled Double Skin Square Steel Tube Column with Stiffeners Under Axial Compression

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2018
Due to the problem that local bucking is easy to occur on steel tube of concrete-filled skin steel tube (CFST) columns, the applications and researches of a new type composite column, CFST with stiffening ribs, have been reported in recent years, and the

Fish Scales: A Multifunctional Biomaterial from Nature

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Fish scales demonstrate nature's solution to impact protection through overlapping multilayered architecture. This biological design combines mineralized surfaces with collagen networks to achieve both flexibility and fracture resistance. The structural principles inspire advanced protective materials and biomedical implants, where damage tolerance ...

Subordination of related party claims in insolvency: A suggestive framework for Asian regimes

open access: yesInternational Insolvency Review, EarlyView.
Abstract Related party loans, due to their inherent nature, warrant a higher threshold for scrutiny when compared to loans extended by unrelated parties. Why were these monies advanced as loans, carrying higher priority in insolvency, rather than being invested as share capital?

Gaslighting in the context of diagnostic safety: A concept analysis

open access: yesJournal of Healthcare Risk Management, EarlyView.
Abstract Diagnostic errors significantly impact patient outcomes and are often linked to dysfunctional team dynamics. Gaslighting, characterized by patterned distortion and doubt induction, is increasingly recognized among health care professionals and may compromise diagnostic safety.

Stress analysis of ribbed flanges

open access: yes, 1986
In this paper an attempt is made to study the role of stiffening ribs on the behaviour of flanges. Shell theory is resorted to in developing the ribbed shell equations.

Turmeric essential oil‐loaded wheat starch cryogels as superabsorbent pads for active packaging of fish fillets

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract BACKGROUND This study aimed to create a cryogel with water‐absorbing and antioxidant properties. Wheat starch (10%, w/v) was used to produce cryogels, which were then incorporated with turmeric essential oil (TEO) at two concentrations: 20% and 30% (w/w of starch).

Nonlinear Stability Analysis of the Reinforced Absorption Tower

open access: yes, 2011
Stability of the large thin-walled absorption tower is essential to its safe operation. The large finite-element analysis software is adopted for parameterized modeling of the tower. It requires the internal pressure of the tower tube to be the load form
