Assessment of floral characteristics for hybrid wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) production in Texas
Abstract Hybrid technology is indispensable for increasing the yield potential of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). However, seed production costs and the self‐pollinating nature of wheat are limiting factors that necessitate the redesign of its floral characteristics to achieve high outcrossing ability.

Participatory plant breeding and the evolution of landraces: A case study in the organic farms of the Collserola Natural Park [PDF]
Although consumers appreciate the genetic diversity among tomato landraces, traditional varieties have been displaced from commercial agriculture. Their cultivation through organic farming in natural parks can contribute to their resurgence.

Mapping of Quantitative Trait Loci for Exserted Stigma Rate By Using (ZS97B/MH63) Ril Population
For increasing pollination and seed set, stigma exsertion has been identified as a major component in hybrid rice. By using a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population derived from an important Indica rice cross between Zhenshan97 and Minghui63, a molecular marker-based analysis of quantitative trait loci (QTL) for stigma exsertion was performed.
