Self‐Powered Flexible Triboelectric‐Gated Ion‐Gel Transistor for Neuromorphic Tactile Sensing and Human Activity Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

Multivariate extensions of expectiles risk measures

open access: yesDependence Modeling, 2017
This paper is devoted to the introduction and study of a new family of multivariate elicitable risk measures. We call the obtained vector-valued measures multivariate expectiles. We present the different approaches used to construct our measures.

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...

Mean Square Consensus for Uncertain Multiagent Systems with Noises and Delays

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
This paper investigates the consensus problem in mean square for uncertain multiagent systems with stochastic measurement noises and symmetric or asymmetric time-varying delays.

Linear-Quadratic Approximation, Efficiency and Target-Implementability [PDF]

open access: yes
We examine linear-quadratic (LQ) approximation of stochastic dynamic optimization problems in macroeconomics (and elsewhere), in particular in policy analysis using Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models. We first define the problem that is

Data‐Driven Cation Engineering Guides Electrolyte Design for Sustainable Aqueous Zinc Battery Chemistries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
To address the persistent challenges of vanadium dissolution and capacity fading in zinc‐ion batteries, we introduce a cation‐engineered electrolyte strategy underpinned by a data‐driven framework. This approach efficiently and reliably predicts a Na+‐Mg2+‐Zn2+ tri‐cation electrolyte with well‐balanced and sustainable advantages, enabling Zn/VOx ...

From homogeneity to heterogeneity: Refining stochastic simulations of gene regulation

open access: yesComputational and Structural Biotechnology Journal
Cellular processes are intricately controlled through gene regulation, which is significantly influenced by intrinsic noise due to the small number of molecules involved. The Gillespie algorithm, a widely used stochastic simulation method, is pervasively

Exponential stability of a kind of stochastic delay difference equations

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2006
We present a Razumilchin-type theorem for stochastic delay difference equation, and use it to investigate the mean square exponential stability of a kind of nonautonomous stochastic difference equation which may also be viewed as an approximation of a ...

Multidimensional Stochastic Approximation Methods

open access: yesThe Annals of Mathematical Statistics, 1954
Multidimensional stochastic approximation schemes are presented, and conditions are given for these schemes to converge a.s. (almost surely) to the solutions of $k$ stochastic equations in $k$ unknowns and to the point where a regression function in $k$ variables achieves its maximum.
