Numerical methods for boundary value problems on random domains [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this thesis, we consider the numerical solution of elliptic boundary value problems on random domains. The underlying domain is modelled via a random vector field which is given by its mean and its covariance.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Markov chains with discontinuous drifts have differential inclusions limits. Application to stochastic stability and mean field approximation. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we study deterministic limits of Markov processes having discontinuous drifts. While most results assume that the limiting dynamics is continuous, we show that these conditions are not necessary to prove convergence to a deterministic ...

On topological properties of solution sets of non Lipschitzian quantum stochastic differential inclusions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we establish results on continuous mappings of the space of the matrix elements of an arbitrary nonempty set of pseudo solutions of non Lipschitz quantum Stochastic differential inclusion (QSDI) into the space of the matrix elements of its

A Class of Stochastic Hybrid Systems with State-Dependent Switching Noise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we develop theoretical results based on a proposed method for modeling switching noise for a class of hybrid systems with piecewise linear partitioned state space, and state-depending switching. We devise a stochasticmodel of such systems,

Integrated Field‐Free SOT Domain‐Wall Synapses and MTJ Stochastic Neurons for Hardware Boltzmann Machines

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Field‐free spin‐orbit torque domain‐wall synapses integrated with stochastic MTJ neurons enable compact hardware Boltzmann machines. Leveraging intrinsic stochasticity and multi‐level conductance, the system achieves efficient probabilistic learning with high accuracy, demonstrating a scalable spintronic platform for energy‐efficient edge AI.

Thermally Pre‐Formed Reconfigurable Resistive Random‐Access Memory Crossbar Arrays: A Dual‐Mode Platform for Robust Physically Unclonable Functions and In‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A reconfigurable RRAM platform utilizing thermally pre‐formed filaments (TPFs) is developed to realize robust hardware security. By exploiting the thermodynamic stochasticity of TPFs, exceptionally reliable physically unclonable functions (PUFs) are achieved.

Levenberg-Marquardt recurrent neural network for heat transfer in ternary hybrid nanofluid flow with nonlinear heat source-sink

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering
This study focuses on the application of ternary hybrid nanofluids (manganese zinc ferrite, copper, and silver) over a spinning disk, which has significant implications for thermal management, biomedical devices, aerospace, and industrial cooling systems.

Global attractors for multivalued random dynamical systems generated by random differential inclusions with multiplicative noise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
In this paper we consider a stochastic differential inclusion with multiplicative noise. It is shown that it generates a multivalued random dynamical system for which there also exists a global random ...

Time‐Resolved Magnetization Switching Dynamics Driven by Orbital Torques

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Du et al. reveal nanosecond magnetization switching driven by orbital currents using time‐resolved Hall detection. The measurements separate domain nucleation from domain wall propagation and show that Joule heating strongly assists switching by lowering energy barriers.
