A Stochastic Dominance Approach to Spanning [PDF]

open access: yes
We develop a Stochastic Dominance methodology to analyze if new assets expand theinvestment possibilities for rational nonsatiable and risk-averse investors.

Super‐Resolution Ultrasound Based Cell Tracking With Polymeric Nanobubbles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a super‐resolution ultrasound platform for tracking cells in vivo. Biocompatible polymeric nanobubbles are used as highly echogenic intracellular labels. Following the injection of cells and microbubbles, ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) can dynamically match the microvascular architecture and individual cell trajectories ...

PREFERENCE RELATIONS IN RANKING MULTIVALUED ALTERNATIVES USING STOCHASTIC DOMINANCE: CASE OF THE WARSAW STOCK EXCHANGE [PDF]

open access: yes
This study used stochastic dominance tests for ranking alternatives under ambiguity, to build an efficient set of assets for a different class of investors.

Market Efficiency of Oil Spot and Futures: A Stochastic Dominance Approach [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper examines the market efficiency of oil spot and futures prices by using a stochastic dominance (SD) approach. As there is no evidence of an SD relationship between oil spot and futures, we conclude that there is no arbitrage opportunity between

Oppositely Charged Single Enzyme Nanogels Form Versatile Coacervates for Efficient Enzyme Cascade Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Oppositely charged single enzyme nanogels (SENs) phase‐separate into bi‐enzymatic coacervate microdroplets, acting as both scaffold and functional units. By tuning SEN ratios, these coacervates create specific microenvironments that enable selective small‐molecule enrichment and efficient intermediate diffusion.

Testing for Bivariate Stochastic Dominance Using Inequality Restrictions [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper, we propose of a test of bivariate stochastic dominance using a generalized framework for testing inequality constraints. Unlike existing tests, this test has the advantage of utilizing the covariance structure of the estimates of the joint

A 3D‐Printed Blister Test Platform for Quantifying Biointerface Adhesion Mechanisms

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed blister platform enables energy‐resolved characterization of soft hydrogel–rigid interfaces. Integrating precision pressure control with hyperelastic modeling directly quantifies adhesion energy (G) and R‐curve toughening. Results reveal that modulating hydrogel concentration and surface roughness drives a tunable transition from cohesive ...

Thermal Radiation Emission From 3D Graphene Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Three‐dimensional graphene networks are demonstrated as exceptional broadband thermal emitters, exhibiting high‐intensity, spectrally homogeneous emission and strong mechanical flexibility compared to conventional emitters like silicon carbide.

Tests for Almost Stochastic Dominance

open access: yesJournal of Business & Economic Statistics
We introduce a 2-dimensional stochastic dominance (2DSD) index to characterize both strict and almost stochastic dominance. Based on this index, we derive an estimator for the minimum violation ratio (MVR), also known as the critical parameter, of the almost stochastic ordering condition between two variables.
