Controllability of a stochastic functional differential equation driven by a fractional Brownian motion

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
Let U, V and W be three Hilbert spaces and let BH $B^{H}$ be a W-valued fractional Brownian motion with Hurst index H∈(12,1) $H\in(\frac{1}{2},1)$. In this paper, we consider the approximate controllability of the Sobolev-type fractional stochastic ...

Elephant‐Skin‐Inspired Porous Cementitious Tiles with Programmable Crack Networks for Passive Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

Stability of stochastic functional differential equations and the W-transform

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2004
The paper contains a systematic presentation of how the so-called ``W-transform'' can be used to study stability of stochastic functional differential equations.

Dynamical analysis of a ratio-dependent predator–prey model with Holling III type functional response and nonlinear harvesting in a random environment

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
The objective of this paper is to study the dynamics of the stochastic ratio-dependent predator–prey model with Holling III type functional response and nonlinear harvesting. For the autonomous system, sufficient conditions for globally positive solution

Droplet Electricity Generators With Maximized Energy Collection Zone Enabled by Aloe‐Inspired Midrib and Cuticle

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An Aloe‐pinspired droplet electricity generator (A‐DEG) overcomes the limited energy collection zone of conventional DEGs by guiding impact droplets through a channeling midrib and artificial cuticle. The channeling midrib induces uni‐directional droplet spreading, while the artificial cuticle on the midrib further reinforces this behavior through its ...

η-Stability for stochastic functional differential equation driven by time-changed Brownian motion

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
This manuscript focuses on a class of stochastic functional differential equations driven by time-changed Brownian motion. By utilizing the Lyapunov method, we capture some sufficient conditions to ensure that the solution for the considered equation is ...

Path‐Decoupled Cation‐Eutaxy III–V van der Waals Memristive Semiconductors for Mitigating the Neuromorphic Accuracy‐Energy Trade‐off

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Path‐decoupled III–V van der Waals memtransistors spatially separate ionic and electronic transport to overcome the conventional trade‐off between accuracy and energy in neuromorphic hardware. Mobile K+ ions in the vdW gaps set a wide conductance window, Gmax/Gmin, while gate‐tunable hole conduction lowers programming energy, enabling reliable ...
